Ryan Sheckler - Life and Career

Ryan Sheckler was born in La Palma in 1989. Today he is known as a young famous skater.

At the age of 18 months he started with skateboarding. Later in the year 1995, at the age of 6 years he made his first skateboard-tricks. In the same year his father was building for Ryan and some kids of the neighbourhood lots of skate-ramps.

Skateboarding started to change from a hobby into a professional sport for him. He developed his own style and created his first trick, named “sheck-lair”.

Since 2003 Ryan Sheckler is a professional skater by the big skateboard-label “world industries”. There he is the second-youngest profi-skater.

During his childhood he was living in his parents-house, with his younger brothers Shane and Kane. Actually he lives in San Clemente in his own house.

His biggest success took place in 2003; he won the first place at the “World Championship of Skateboarding”.

In the last 5 years he won until today 14 times the first place in several competitions, this explains his great career and fame.

He is so famous, that he has got his own reality-show on MTV, “Life of Ryan”.
